BLVD on the Pier, a pop-up beer garden for four Sundays on the Santa Monica Pier, was thee spot for enjoying a weekend afternoon beverage! The partnering of Los Angeles area brands/companies helped to naturally promote the Boulevard name into the local lexicon as well as drive traffic to the event. Of course the KC pride was in full effect with many transplants in attendance. Whether patrons were sitting back listening to the music from live bands and DJ's, playing the many different games or shopping at the trunk shows - This garden had something for everybody and was the best of the west side for a bit of Sunday fun - that many are sad to see end.

The KC to California Road Trip had numerous ways to reach it's west coast audience with 3 levels of activation - From full scale LA Beer week set up, to branded outdoor events at accounts as well as the smaller scale vehicle placement/in store engagements.

Many Boulevard fans were in attendance at these activations as well as many curious beer drinkers - all responded well to the look and feel of the experience, with many patrons interacting with the games/activities in and around the VW. 

When the VW was not posted at an event up and down the state, it got many the wave and catcall on the road. KC natives who spotted it were thrilled at the idea that their beloved Boulevard had made it's was out west and many unaware of the brand made inquires as to it's story and where to find it. It acted as a mobile billboard with a soul!
